Targeting surface NCL impaired the progression of several cancer cell types <em>in vitro <\/em>and <em>in vivo. <\/em>The present up\u2011to\u2011date review provides data to support the notion of targeting NCL among the developing anticancer approaches, including the use of anti\u2011NCL peptides, aptamers, anti\u2011NCL antibodies\/pseudopeptides and NCL\u2011specific T\u2011cells.
